The Blue Lotus Retreat Center is located on the West Bank of Luxor nestled between the fertile green fields of the Nile and the mountain of Meret Seger, situated on sacred lands once belonging to the 18th dynasty temples of Hatshepsut and Tutmoses III.
Blue Lotus House sits on the ley line running from Karnak/Luxor Temple Temples to Medinte Habu Temple (the Sacred Lake) and the rock cut sanctuary of Imhotep/Hatshepsut at Dear El Bahari. The views encompass Karnak Temple across the Nile, Hatshepsut and the Ramesseum. It is a perfect retreat center for writers, artists, and spiritual work.
The House is a 2 story building designed in the Hassan Fathy style of architecture with garden, patio, roof deck and, of course, the lotus pool. The House contains 7 bedrooms (all with tiled bathrooms).
The House is within walking distance of Hatshepsut’s Temple at Deir El Bahari, the Ramesseum, the Colossi of Memnon and Medinet Habu. Local transportation and taxis are always available.
